I know it's taken me forever (and you're probably tired of all the Professor Layton stuff lately XD), but I must thank you all for your willingness to wait and as a reward we have another one of my "ReBisions" project! This time staring Ultima--one of my lesser known but still loved characters from me original journies up here on the interwebs :P

She's another lupe, yes, but almost all my characters back then were wolf-based XD; I've gotten a little better...I think o0; At least I don't draw /just/ wolves anymore. At any rate, Ultima is an archangel wolf that's oddly "blessed" with similar powers to those of Rouge from X-men :P She's a quiet, shy, lonely little soul that has to deal with a huge burden (one that I won't give away here because she's till being roleplayed :P). But basically she has to fend for herself after her father almost killed her when she was a pup--and now she lives with the threat of hurting anyone she ever touches because she'll take their powers and make them unconcious for a short time.

I have NO CLUE why she's in a rainforest, but it was one fo the few backgrounds I hadn't tried yet, and so here it is XD SO. MUCH. GREEEEEEN! *must shield herself from it all* But there are little animals here and there :D And fun things to find within the forest itself, so perhaps that will compensate for the green XD

I really wanted the background to be the main focus of the picture, and that's why Ultima's so small. I really wanted to get off the dramatic, quiet feel of the beams of light as well--they fit so well with the song I listened to while I drew it.

Hope this makes up for the Layton stuff and now I really have no clue what I should do next for a background...

Something about this, paired with the rianforest sounds that my clock is making... makes me want to curl up and read a good book.

Absolutely gorgeous, Sakura! The lighting is amazing, and the colors flow greatly as well! I love the little creatures in the back to show the place isn't forbidden or dead. =)

Thank you so very much! It's kinda just a whole bunch-a green, but I'm glad that it looks okay together XD And yes--I don't normally add other "earth" creatures here since my characters are Neopet-based, but I found it approriate :P (and my roomate wanted an aye-aye in there XD)
