Ah, so you doodled with pen, did you? I always doodle in pen. I happen to be a pencil-hater (unless they are colored). Pencils smear badly and get gray lead all over your poor hand-bottom. Annoying. Pens, now, they dry quickly and leave a beautiful dark line. The smell of ink is enchanting, almost. I personally find it hard to see what I am drawing when I use a pencil. Ick. I also love to shade in pen.
I believe personally that this picture would look better with her wings. Also, the hindfoot, even though you were referring off of the photograph, looks slightly off in this picture. Yours seems to be on a flat surface, while the actual Fennec was on some kind of a fabric. It makes a big difference when drawing suchone must pay attention to the differences like so.
Your anatomy is very very well done here, I think. I really like the paws the best, though, I must say. You have done excellent work with the eyes, too. Shes turned out to be very lovely, she has. Nice work!

I didn't exactly doodle it with a pen--i mostly doodled with a pencil and then outlined it in the lurvely pen~~ And yes--I almost feel like I'm left-handed whenever I draw because I smear it everywhere and get it all over my hand XD; Shading with a pen is indeed lovely--and there's something about the idea of not really being able to go back on any of your lines that really makes a sketch evovle when you draw with a pen.
Really? I was thinking about adding her wings, but I wasn't really that sure...The more I look at it, though, the more I think it should be added. Oh well--perhaps I'll change it up a little bit if I get inspired to do so XD; Well yes--I was trying to follow it exactly and it is on some sort of a fluffy cushion of some sort. The backleg looked so odd, but i was merely following the picture.
Thank you

SSS. SSS. SAKURAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. THIS IS... UTTERLY BEAUTIFUL.
Okay... *calms down*
Phew... Really though, this is beautifully done! Gotta love draw-while-looking-at-a-picture! It certainly helps to learn anatomy and different drawing techniques. Speaking of which, the anatomy on this is very well done! The face is adorable, and very nicely drawn. X3 And those EARS! @____@ *rubs them* I love their hugeness. <3
Beautiful work Sakura.

Now I can't help but think they'd make adorable pets, the real foxes I mean. Though wings would be pretty awesome...

"That moustache could choke a walrus!!!!"
Well thank you very much. I was hoping to add the wings before, but I got lazy...and then unlazy XD I hope they don't look too "slap-dash/last second" from the rest of the picture.
Yes they would make absolutely adorable pets. They're still wild animals, and the pet-trade isn't really the best place for these lovely things, but they are very cute and much like a cat...They just bite more XD And probably can't be potty trained too terribly well. I'm not exactly sure, but they are wild animals, so I probably wouldn't suggest it.

Yes! Gotta love the drawing-while-looking-at-it style XD It's definitely how I learned how to draw *laughs* Well thank you very much XD And yes...I just kept making them bigger by accident *laughs*But I feel like they turned out alright. I'm happy that they could be enjoyed so much.
Fox Sakura: *blinks and flicks her ears back and forth, attempting to see if Morf will try and catch them* X//3
